You do not need to create an account to buy something, making a purchase is just like most websites either browse or search to a product you would like to buy and press the button 'Add to Shopping Basket'. The prices advertised include VAT and delivery there are no additional costs to be added in the checkout. The prices advertised are for orders placed online we do not encourage orders by telephone as our profit margins are inadequate to pay for extra telephone sales staff (an honest answer !) After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order. We accept the usual card payments, e.g. Visa and MasterCard, but not AMEX. If you have made a mistake in your order and cannot correct it in the shopping cart, contact us and we will correct the mistake. When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
Shipping And Handling
The prices advertised for each product do not include the cost of delivery to you, it would be nice if they could do but postage costs vary according to the weight of the parcel if you buy more than one item the postage cost is less for each item than if posted separately. We normally despatch goods weighing less than 750g by Royal Mail 1st 0r 2nd Class Delivery, over 750g parcels are normally despatched by Courier - DPD Locall Next Working Day Service (please note that some remote areas are excluded from this service, e.g. the Highlands). We use DPD Local because they have high standards and good customer service systems including the DPD Predict One Hour/15 minute Delivery Time Slot If you are buying a single or double pushchair then it doesn't matter how many accessories you add the cost will always be £10 for delivery by 17:30 hrs on the UK Mainland excluding the Scottish Highlands. Delivery to the Scottish Highlands and Islands (see postcodes below) is unfortunately more expensive. You can choose one of the timed delivery options which suits you better but these are a bit more expensive. On the day of delivery the DPD Predict system will send a message to your email and mobile giving a one hour time slot for delivery, the message will include a link so you will be able to track the location of the driver to within a 15 minutes of delivery. For more information visit DPD Predict Goods weighing up to 2kg can also be sent to UK addresses by Royal Mail Special Delivery (guaranteed delivery the next working day) by 1pm. Goods delivered by Courier will arrive between 8:00am and 8:00pm (although most often before 5:30pm). If when they arrive as agreed and you are not there to receive delivery the courier will attempt to leave it with a neighbour, if this is not possible then they will leave a failed delivery card. Please contact the telephone number on the card within 48hrs to re-arrange delivery. You have the opportunity to select your preferred method of delivery to a less expensive or a faster option when you pay for your shopping. Deliveries of goods over £5 require a signature on delivery, so there will need to be someone in to receive the goods. Any claim for damage or shortage must be made within 3 days of delivery. Please do not ask for the parcel to be left somewhere in your absence as this is not possible a signature is always required. If no one is available then they will leave a notification card and it will be held at your local post office awaiting collection. If not collected within 6 days of posting it will be returned to us. Or you can arrange re-delivery online at Royal Mail Re-Delivery We regret that we cannot do this for you.
Carbon Neutral Courier Deliveries
Delivery Schedule
If we receive your order before noon we can usually dispatch your order the same day if it is in stock. If you enter a mobile phone number in te checkout then our courier will text you with an approximate time of arrival on the day of delivery. Deliveries must be signed for but you can add notes in the checkout asking the courier to 'Leave with a neighbour' for example. Or you could have it delivered to an alternative address where there will be someone to sign for it e.g an office or due to the nature of the goods even the child's School (agree this with them first) You must inform us within three working days if the goods are lost or damaged in transit so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and correct the problem. Please quote your order number in all correspondence. You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.
Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Part Deliveries/Incomplete Orders
In the event that an order cannot be competely fulfilled then we will advise you, and you have the choice to take delivery now of the item(s) which is in stock with missing items to follow as soon as they are available OR to delay delivery until all items are in stock and can be supplied as a single delivery. This includes product packages which comprise multiple accessories.
If the purchase is conditional upon all parts of an order being available then you must choose to delay delivery until all items are available, as the availability of a missing item(s) is often beyond our control and can never be 100% guaranteed.
If an order is part supplied and the missing item(s) is subsequently not available then we will accept back the item(s) which has been supplied and refund the order provided the item(s) is unused and in its original condition and packaging. This is not conditional on it being within the normal 30 days for return.
If an order is part supplied and the missing item(s) are subsequently not available but the item(s) which has been supplied has been used then we cannot accept it back for refund. We can only refund the item(s) which has not been supplied (or adjust the price if part of a product package).
Tax Charges
All Prices include VAT at 20%. Your Invoice will show a breakdown of the total price between goods and VAT, this is for your information it make no difference to the price you pay.
Credit Card Security
We do not process any card details ourselves, we use a Payment Service Provider who is regulated to ensure maximum security of your card details. We do not see or store full credit card details the Payment Service Provider simply tells passes to us a 'token' for the payment. When you input your card details your bank gives an Authorisation which allocates funds in your account but no money actually leaves your account until we process the transaction. The integrity of the payment system (our website, the PSP website, our PCs,) are all closely regulated and routinely tested by Security Metrics under PCI data security requirements. You are entitled to cancel your order and return the goods within 28 working days for a full refund, excluding the cost of delivery and return. Any additional courier costs resulting from, say, Refusing a delivery are also non refundable. Orders sent by courier usually cost £7 to deliver, orders sent by Royal Mail vary according to the size and weight of the package but are generally similar £5 - £7, Do this by contacting us by email or telephone and quoting the order number supplied to you. Your refund will be paid within 3 days although we aim to do it the same day !. You are responsible for the cost and risk of loss or damage when returning the goods, so you should take out enough postal insurance to cover their value. This cancellation policy does not affect your rights when we are at fault - for example, if goods are faulty or misdescribed. We will never supply a customer with goods which are used or secondhand so any goods returned to us must be unused, in their original condition and packaging, i.e. re-saleable as new.
